More About Yankee Rowing

Yankee Rowing Club
Yankee Rowing Club was organized in 1987 with the founding objective to provide recreational and competitive rowing to Pioneer Valley area residents. The club is non-profit, community oriented and non-restrictive, allowing unlimited rowing to qualified rowers. The current boathouse is located at Sportman's Marina on the Connecticut River in Hadley, Massachusetts.

The club offers recreational singles, racing singles and doubles for use by club members. Boat storage is available for privately owned boats.

Yankee's membership has always been very diverse. Our current members range in age from teenage to retiree with skill levels from novice to Olympic caliber. The reasons people join Yankee are as varied as the membership. Some are training for regional, national, and international competition while others have sought out rowing as a way to stay fit and enjoy the beauty of the river. Yankee's goal is to continue to promote all facets of rowing.
